First we set up a landmark- then, using the landmark, created a polygon geo-fence around the area to be looked after. The on site recording was set for longer than 1 minute so that a quick spot check / drive by was not recorded or charged.
The information provides the vehicle; date, start time; exit time, duration and status of data input / retrieval.
The total hours for the period are found at the bottom right of the picture.
This can be set up for each customer to make your job easier, faster and more accurate.
This proficiency can also help you gain more new clients and CLIENTS SPEAK TO EACH OTHER when they are pleased.
Note: If you only use GPS for the WINTER SEASON, simply call us to deactivate your units until the next year.
We have many seasonal clients that do just that.

Using GPS TRACKING solutions to help SNOW REMOVAL companies:
After a long day / night, how much additional time is spent entering the time spent per site each day?
Utilizing a GPS TRACKING solution, you can get the hours per day- week or month for each individual location with just a few clicks of the mouse.
This is done by setting up a GEO-FENCE for each site and then conducting a GEO-FENCE report.
Such a report can show you start time (time the vehicle entered the Geo-Zone) departure time (depart the geo-zone) each day and for those that utilize multiple vehicles; which truck or other equipment was used on what day.
The time is totaled at the end of each report which not only helps with accurate billing but is also a print out you can use to show you customer what they are paying for.
Stop spending additional hours or looking for that tally sheet that went missing and let the Solution be just that.. The Solution to working smarter.
