The ST-4290L is a versatile- no installer required- Asset Tracker designed for TRAILERS- BINS- CONTAINERS or anything else that does not move about on a regular basis. ie: If your asset sits still for extended periods of time; this may be the solution for you.
Battery Life Expectancy: With the 19Ah internal battery, you have the option of 2 heartbeats per day without moving (or very very seldom and not long distances) and get 5-7 years tracking. In this mode, the unit is NOT PINGABLE. It is designed for long term- stationary- asset management / inventory use.
Option: 1 heartbeat per day and 5, 10 or 15 minute MOVING updates. (your choice of script input at time of sale). Moving should be SHORT distances and not often. This can provide you with 1- 4 years battery life. Use this mode for unsupervised Asset Protection for generally stationary assets.
Items to note: The battery pack is not rechargeable-
- Once depleted, a new battery will be required.
- Battery levels are viewable on your platform.
- This unit is NOT designed to be a daily tracking (moving) solution.
