ST4940B Asset GPS TRACKER
The ST4940B Asset GPS Tracker supports 4G LTE Cat-M1/NB-IoT. The ST4940B (with its holder) is a water resistant (IP66 compliant) rugged, hard-cased multi-purpose mini tracking device for a variety of uses such as asset tracking, vehicle/motorcycle tracking and personal tracking.
With a bigger battery, the ST-4940B Asset GPS Tracker is suitable for tracking needs that require long-term usage.
The 18Ah Rechargeable battery on the ST4940B is capability of providing 2-3 years of tracking between charging depending on the intervals of movement.

What will the ST-4940B Provide?
First: This unit is NOT PINGABLE. ie: The current status update on the platform will not send a message for an PINGABLE update on location in between HEARTBEATS.
To maintain very useful time between charges ( several months to several years), this unit is in a deep sleep between heartbeats.
Each heartbeat is at the same time each day. If the unit is moving, it will report position and speed every 1 minute. When it stops (after a short refresh time of about 2 minutes) it will go back to sleep and then then wait for the next heartbeat or next movement.
Bottom line- it is an asset tracker that can be deployed on its own for up to 3 years based on 1 heartbeat per day. Movement and travel will affect the length of time between charging.
