A recent telephone call we received might be of interest to you (the reader) as it makes a very good point. It shows that Locks Keep Out the Honest – but does not stop the Thief.
The caller (now a NEW CUSTOMER) owns a large Landscape / Design company. They have multiple vehicles and multiple cargo trailers.
The trailers have double back doors and large side door. ( Wells Fargo/ American style). Inside the trailers, there is over $10,000 dollars of equipment and specialty tools.The customer had safety locks on all access points so that getting in but an unauthorized person would be, if not VERY DIFFICULT- almost impossible. Everything should be safe and secure- RIGHT? Not a chance!!
Even though the customer had taken all these (not cheap) precautions to keep his valuable assets safe, there was one thing he did not count on.
THE THIEVES took the whole trailer making the break in process off site an easy task at their leisure.
As the customer found out – LOCKS KEEP OUT THE HONEST- but only slow down the Thieves!
