ST4500 OBD2 GPS Tracking Solution
The ST4500 OBD2 GPS Tracking Solution is for vehicle tracking. This GPS Tracking Solution supports 4G LTE Cat-M1/NB-IoT with fall back to 2G.
The ST4500 is a low-cost tracking solution which simply plugs into the OBD2 diagnostic port placed in the vehicle, commonly near the driver’s knees or below the steering wheel column. Once you plug the ST4500 into the OBD2 port of your vehicle, the device starts tracking and monitoring diagnostic information about the vehicle.
Features including, hybrid & electric vehicle support, using Gyro and enhanced three-axis accelerometer.

Optional OBD2 Extensions available for your ST4500:
Installing these OPTIONAL extension means your vehicle technician does have to unplug your ST4500 t conduct an engine diagnostic test. This also means he will not forget to plug your ST4500 OBD2 GPS TRACKER back in after the diagnostics test has been completed.
Disconnecting and reconnecting leaves opportunity for damaging the pins on the ST4500 which could make it inoperable. This type of damage is not covered by warranty. We recommend the following options:
#1: FLOW-THRU Extension
Simply plug in the Extension to the front of the OBD2 port and attach your ST4500 to the other end where you can mount it under the dash area. Simple- Easy to install and only $19.99
#2: Y-Connection Extension:
For a more hidden application, utilize our Y-CONNECTOR Extension.
This application is vehicle make and model specific as it replaces the stock port in the vehicle.
The PURPLE OBD2 connection your see in the picture replaces the STOCK port in the receiver mounting in your vehicle. The STOCK OND2 line ( port) plugs into the end of the extension as does your ST4500 GPS Tracker
Everything is out of sight – out of temptation – out of mind and your OBD2 port is still available for diagnostics.

#3: J-1939 or J-1708

You can utilize the J-1939 or other adaptor – extensions depending on the application- vehicle and type.
