We are in the pre-roll-out phase / design of our GPS Dispatch system. The design is focused on SHUTTLE vehicle and other Mobile Dispatch requirement applications including delivery and other on the fly Customer Service based applications . It is proposed that we will make this application portable as it will be APP based (Android).

In the above screens:
- A small button on the screen with the label “Dispatch”. By clicking on the Dispatch button it will open a New Dispatch screen.
2. New Dispatch screen will have ability to enter below details
– Customer mobile and name. Mobile can be used to send SMS alerts about dispatch.
– Car type for dispatch. So only the matching cars can be shown for vehicle allocation
– Pickup date/time location – this can be google populated address
– Drop location – these locations can be used for alerts as well as shown for drivers before they accept the dispatch
– additional comment, if any.
– After entering all dispatch details, user can click on List drivers
3. List Drivers Button.. screen will show nearest drivers with matching vehicle type.
4. Drivers list and notifications
Select one or more drivers and send them notifications with dispatch details.
Once the first driver accepts the dispatch, other drivers can’t modify the dispatch.
5. On the right hand side of the screen, user can see the pending dispatch as well as in progress dispatch.
If required, user can modify the pending dispatch and send notifications to additional drivers etc.

This feature assumes that the person logged in will enter the dispatch details and select drivers.
This can be extended further by developing an android app where the android mobile user will enter the
dispatch details and then notification will be sent to nearby drivers. Drivers then can accept
the dispatch making it a completely automated process.
Additional Questions we have tabled to our developer team:
- Will the dispatcher (client) see a green icon showing NOT PICKED UP YET which will turn to red once driver of the shuttle has made the pickup?
Yes. There would be different color coded lists on UI with different status of the dispatch.
It will show status as %complete E.g if a dispatch has 5 dispatch locations and 3 are completed it would show 60%(3/5)
– Would this system show a route with all pickup / dispatched locations for routing ?
Yes. User will be able to view the route on map with all pickup/dispatch locations with the progress along with the time at each location.
